Measure once.
Make room for comfort.
Use this dog clothing size guide to record your pet’s measurements before choosing an outfit. A comfortable fit matters more than a size label.
Neck
Measure around the base of the neck where the garment will sit. Keep the tape comfortably loose.
Chest
Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, while your pet is standing naturally.
Back length
Measure along the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
Match the garment, not just the breed.
Compare all three measurements with the size information on the individual product. A small in one design may fit differently from a small in another. Breed and weight alone cannot determine the right fit.
If your pet falls between sizes, check the garment’s cut and sizing advice before ordering. The outfit should allow comfortable walking, sitting and lying down without pulling or restricting movement.
A quick fitting check
Try clothing for a short, supervised period. Check around the neck, legs and chest, and remove the outfit if your pet appears uncomfortable. Choose clothing suited to the temperature and your pet’s needs.
